Hello my name is Taz;

I have come a long way since day 1 here at the shelter. I was a shy and timid young cat, but the friendly staff here helped me find my confidence and now I greet all new people with little chirps and head bunts.

I am on the lookout for a home where I can be the only cat, and as I am FIV positive I would need to be an indoor cat ONLY. FIV can spread to my other feline friends if they are not vaccinated against it, so keeping me indoors would be so much better. I am also a medium haired cat, so you know what that means....I will need daily brushing, as I can get matted without regular grooming.

As I can still be a little timid in big open areas I also ask that you make sure I am kept in a smaller room in your house for the first couple weeks at least, so I do not stress out and hide. I would need very gradual introductions to bigger areas, and would appreciate a quieter more mature home so that loud noises don't scare me.
