About Nim
Hi, my name is Nim,
My foster mum says that beauty is in the eye of the beholder - she thinks I'm beautiful and unique!
I am a bit of an unusual combination of breeds - Cattle Dog x - so I am a medium height dog but thin build (I weigh 11.4 kgs)
I have just turned over 1 year and 3 months old - that makes me a big girls yeah???
I am nervous meeting new people and often hide in my safe place when people come to the house - it can take me 10 - 15 minutes to get comfy to come out and meet you - I am working on and learning not to be so scared so please don't let that put you off me - I am honestly worth it!
I am good with other dogs and currently being fostered with small and bigger breeds (and young and old) and my foster mum says I'm no issue at all. One of my favorite games to play with my fur sibling is chase - I would just looooove another dog that would be keen to do that with me daily.
I am really good around the human kids too - and once I feel comfy with you I love nothing more then to cuddle up too you.
I do love to be outside and playing - so human kids would be great to be with.
Ideally I would love a family who loves to do things with me - go for a walk, go for a run - I'm your girl!!
I can follow commands but I’m very smart and very capable of learning more if you have the patience to teach me. My foster mum says I'm doing really well learning to walk on a lead and definitely love to have a good walk daily - she mutters something about it clears the cobwebs??
I am good in the house by myself, I don’t destroy things that are not mine.
I would love a family who have the time to spend with me, let me blossom and I promise I will be worth it!
I look forward to meeting you.
Love Nim

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
