About Callie~2yo Cattle X (On Trial 26/09/20)
Now check out this gorgeous girl! This is Callie, shes a 2yr old Cattle X Kelpie who is searching for her perfect forever home. This stunning pup is a sweet young girl with lovely manners.
Callie just loves affection, giving and receiving, and the more the better. She is one super love bug! She also likes to be where her family is, and that is EVERYWHERE her family is. She will be your shadow. So if you want an outside dog, Callie is not your girl. She comes when called and does most things she is told to do. It may take her a little longer to get her front legs off you after you tell her down.
If you work or not home most of the day, Callie is not your girl.
If you like company and love dogs, Callie is your girl.
She would suit a family where somebody is home a lot and where she has access to inside and outside all the time. She is happy to lay on her bed inside when you go out but be ready for a greeting like no other when you get home. You will know she missed you!
Callie is house trained and uses a doggy door, she loves being allowed to come and go as she pleases, but most of the time she will be beside you, asking for affection.
She likes her daily walks and has nice lead manners, and she loves to greet everyone she passes.
Callie lives with 2 other kelpies and 2 cats. All the dogs live peacefully but she prefers smaller dogs than herself to play with. She will roll around and play for hours with her mini Foxy friend, but big dogs tend to intimidate her a little.
The cats tend to keep Callie focused on them, so I wouldn’t recommend she lives with cats. Although Callie comes out second best, she does fixate on them. She also likes to chase birds, so a home without chickens or birds.
