About King
Hello there, the name is King.
I was surrendered to BARC as my previous owners were unable to care for me any longer. I was loved very much by them and so I am seeking a home that will love and adore me just as much.
I also came to BARC with my 2 sisters, but since arriving here I have much preferred a solitary lifestyle and as such am seeking a home where I will be the only pet, but I am very people oriented and would love to have some human company around a bit.
I am a very independent guy and I'm happiest when I can just do my own thing. My ideal home would be a stable and quiet environment. I am just such a lovely and gentle guy who has a lot of love to give!! Just come and meet me, ill come out of my bed and give you the most lovely head boops and smooches.
I am a lovely big boy who just needs a home that I can comfortably retire in. Could that be with you?
If you think that I could be the purrfect addition to your home and family call BARC on (03) 54412209 to book your essential meet and greet appointment.
Please note that we will not be accepting appointments from stage 4 lock down areas and may not be in a position to respond to all email inquiries.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
