About London ~ 6Mo Female Ginger (On trial 19/9/20)
Meet London! This 6 month old is a fluffy female ginger with the cutest little face. Female gingers are rare to come by! She’s model material.... with that London look... We’re very fond of London.
London was surrendered to DRN with her sister, Olivia. They experienced a lot of change and scary new things in a short period of time, so have taken a little bit of time to come out of their shells.
London hid for a few days when she came into her foster carer’s home. We moved London to a new foster carer, because we suspected her sister was bullying her a little. London’s new family will have to be prepared to give her a few days to get used to another new environment in such a short period of time.
London LOVES attention and affection. She purrs like a machine and rubs up against everything. London will flop to her side for pats, which are hard to resist when she looks at you with that striking face of hers.
She also adores her food, and purrs the entire time she eats! She would love a cat tree to perch on during the day, and hidey holes to sleep in at night.
London’s full personality is still being revealed. She hasn’t been very playful just yet.... but we think she has it in her. We are so excited for this sweet little girl to find her forever home, a calm and stable place where she can blossom and be loved.
Being a Medium-haired cat - she may need some brushing to prevent matting.
London may find very small children a little confusing and unpredictable while she settles into a new environment. She needs a family to respect her space for a little while - and THEN provide unlimited affection. She appears to love men and women equally - not discriminating against who can give her a pat.
We are unsure how cat and dog friendly London is. We would suggest that any existing cats should be male. As she loves people so much, she would also suit being an only cat, or a first cat.She would be suitable to a younger or older couple, a calm family with older children, a single person wanting a companion, or a multi-adult household. As long as her adopters have some patience and understanding to help her settle in, and introduce her properly and gradually to any existing animals.
DRN can provide you with some information about how to settle rescue cats into a new home. If you have any questions regarding London, please contact Ness on catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com.
