Gus

Gorgeous GUS, a border collie cross, is a super friendly older chap, looking for a break in life.

Estimated by our vet to be about 9 years old, we suspect Gus has spent most of his life on the chain because his teeth are completely worn down from chewing on something very hard - like the metal links of a chain.

Nevertheless, he has a youthful exuberance about him that makes him great fun to be around. Gus loves riding in the car or the back of the ute. Wherever you are, he wants to be there, too.

Despite his worn teeth, Gus has no trouble eating. This happy chappy loves his tucker and is a healthy weight.

Gus is also dog-friendly and appears to be fine with cats.

His only apparent vice is jumping up for cuddles, a bad habit that can be extinguished with training.

It's unlikely that Gus has spent any time in a house, so living inside with his humans would be a new and exciting experience for him.

His adoption fee is $275 and he is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated.

Applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet Gus. He is not available for interstate adoption due to current COVID border restrictions.
