About Hugo
Hugo is a fun loving partner in life, ready for your adventures. Hugo would suit an active family without smaller dogs or puppies.
You'd better be ready fo Hugo to take up some of the bed, that's where he belongs at night. Hugo is now eight years old but you might find that hard to believe. He has all the vitality of 3 year old.
Hugo is looking for a best friend and loyal family to spend his days with. He is fine for a day as you go off to work (when we're out of lockdown, that is) and will excitedly await your return just to be with you.
He has energy to burn so needs regular walking and exercise.
Medical notes
Hugo is in excellent health to the best of our knowledge.
Adoption details
All animals are adopted, never sold, and an adoption contract is required in each case.
We generally bring the animal(s) to you and reserve the right the inspect the housing and garden at this time. That marks the beginning of a 30 day trial adoption period.
We are committed to supporting you throughout the life of the animal you adopt, so we are here for advice or assistance where possible. We want you and your new family member to have a long happy life together so we will do what we can to ensure this. You will be asked to complete an adoption inquiry form before getting to meet Hugo.
Standard terms include
1. The animal is NEVER to be killed no matter how old they get except for the case of humane euthanasia when all other alternatives have been exhausted.
2. If medical attention is required you commit to taking them to a good vet without delay and without concern for the cost of their treatment.
3. You do not use this animal to make a profit.
4. If the adoption is unsuitable for any reason at any time in the future you will return them to the carer rather than selling them or killing them. You will not rehome them yourself without our knowledge.
5. You will provide a suitable garden/home area and give mental stimulation.
6. You must maintain adequate secure housing and fencing to prevent escapes, accidents or getting lost.
