About Calais
Hi my name is Calais and I am a beautiful boy looking for love. If my big brown eyes don't melt your heart my sweet kisses will.
I am full of beans and would suit a family with another dog that I can run around with.
When I'm not running amok in the backyard with friends I enjoy spending time inside with my foster family. I love to be cuddled and have little concept of personal space, so you'd better be prepared to make room on the couch for me.
I'm still young and getting used to my long legs so may be clumsy from time to time. Please be patient with me and teach me what I can and can't do around the house.
I enjoy the time you invest in me and have started learning lots of new tricks. I've mastered sit, am pretty good at stay and shake plus I'm learning to walk well on the lead.
I dislike loud noises and will often cower beside my foster people and puppy playmate when startled. It is recommended that you have high fences and a secure yard.
If you're looking for a big boy with a soft side to cuddle up to at night then I'm the one for you!

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
