About:
Lizzie is a gorgeous grey lady that came into care with her 5 month old kittens, but was found to be pregnant again. Lizzie has been an amazing mama to both litters of kittens and is just a beautiful cat inside and out. Lizzie absolutely loves pats and cuddles. She will bump her head into your hand as much as she can for endless head pats, and once done with those, will flop down and roll over for belly rubs. Cuddles and attention is a very high priority for Lizzie. This really showed with her relaxed parenting method, as she made sure her kitten were looked after, then would seek out her own cuddles while her carers were in the kitten room with her. Now her kittens are more independent and seeking cuddles of their own, Lizzie firmly makes sure she isn’t forgotten and will remind you that she needs more cuddles too with some head bopping and rubbing into you.
Despite having had at least two litters of kittens, Lizzie is still only very young herself, and has discovered toys and games while in care. She loves chasing after the stick toy, and her kittens don’t stand a chance of getting it if she’s around!
Lizzie has been introduced to the resident cats and just fits herself in very easily and though most mamas are usually a bit protective of their kittens around other cats, Lizzie has been nothing but friendly! She’s not too interested in actually making friends with other cats, preferring to just do her own thing and explore, giving other cats their space, and preferring that they do the same to her, at least until she settles in fully.
Lizzie has also met the resident large breed puppy, and is honestly completely unbothered by it. She can be a bit intimidated when it stands over her or gets a bit excited, but otherwise has been known to rub into the dog’s face and flop down rolling belly up in front of the dog. Lizzie would be fine with any dog, as long as it is safe or respectful.
She has not been around children, but with her easy going and friendly attitude Lizzie would likely do well with children once she has settled in.
While super friendly and usually confident, Lizzie actually gets a bit of stage fright, and can be nervous and may want to hide around strangers. She shouldn’t take long to warm up, as she’s even slunk up nervously to visitors and sought out pats. But she may not be up to her best during any meets.
