About Dalton
Hi I’m the amazing Dalton!!
Id like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.
I am 1 year and 4 month old and i'm hoping that I can win your heart!
I’m a young man who is slowly growing into my huge paws...lol I can be a like clumsy & don’t realise my size sometimes ( could accidentally knock small children over but i always makes sure they are ok with kisses).
I’m still learning about something called personal space, I try to remember but sometimes I just need kisses & cuddles.
My foster mum tells me all the time I’m a good boy who is extremely gentle, calm & chilled was the most amazing manners a true mastiff in nature. It makes me happy & keen to please (even if a little slow).
My dream fur ever family & home would be with someone who works from home & have a fur sibling for company. The rescue believes that i have a bit of separation anxiety by myself but add another furbaby to the mix and i'm one happy pup!
I am currently enjoying hanging out with my foster family and yes that means sleeping inside in the house on my dog bed at night – something I would definitely love to continue or outside with another dog for company.
I am also great around horses and chickens.
My ideal future would be being very much a part of a family where i can play, hang and snuggle with.
I promise i will love you like no other!

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
We can also be found at https://www.facebook.com/pawprintscanine/
Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
If applying to adopt one of our furbabies over the age of 6 months we recommend that you bring to the meet and greet any of your furbabies to see how they interact.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 2 week trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $100) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 2 week trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby.
