Introducing the Dungaree Litter...first up, JIMMY.

Little Mr JIMMY is an adorable male kelpie puppy, born on 26 June 2020.

Not your typical black and tan chap, Jimmy is what some people call a "smoke blue". But like all kelpies, he is super sweet, highly intelligent, alert and very trainable.

Kelpies can make great family pets, loyal companions and excellent watchdogs. They have an exceptionally high IQ and may get into mischief if left to their own devices. They require plenty of exercise, and will become bored if stuck in a backyard for lenthy periods without stimulation or company.

The secret to bringing the best out in a kelpie is to keep him occupied and well loved.
A kelpie's greatest joy is the love and attention of an active owner or family, while his greatest disappointment is inactivity and lack of attention.

Kelpies are eager to please and extremely loyal. Wherever their humans are, that's where they'll be too - whether that's out in a boat, in the back of a car, going for a walk, training for agility competitions or herding, or just watching television in the evening.

To be happy and content, JIMMY will need plenty of vigorous daily exercise and play. Secure fencing is a must.

Jimmy's adoption fee is $850 and he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.

Applicants must be prepared to travel to Warwick, Queensland to meet Jimmy. He is not currently available for interstate adoption.
