Meet Rose, a 2 year old Koolie/Kelpie mix. Rose is a gentle natured girl looking for her forever home.

Rose is a quiet and reserved pooch, she is happy to just chill in the backyard, or sleep on her mat within viewing distance of you. Since coming into care she has learned to play with her fur siblings, she is still trying to figure out the rules of their games, but eagerly runs around to have fun. She has had a lot to learn, and now knows how your average household operates. She is equally happy inside or out, has learned how the doggy door works, is house trained and crate trained. Rose is equally happy to sleep inside or out at night.

Rose is learning to walk nicely on lead, and is working on her recall on a long lead. She can be a bit shy, but once she gains confidence in your backyard she should start to respond to you too!

Rose is looking for a home that will understand her needs, and patiently continue with her initial training. A quiet home would be best, with a fur sibling to help her adjust, or a human who is around a lot of the time. Rose loves people of all sizes, and gets on especially well with other dogs. Rose isn’t a naturally boisterous dog, and is happy at home for periods of time without needing to find things to do (like digging, barking and annoying the neighbours).
