About Charlie
Charlie is FINALLY adoption ready .. grab the tissues foster momma.
This tiny 4kg ball of personality is just 2 years old and has already been on quite a journey.
He is in the final stages of recovery from a fractured pelvis after a run in with a car.
No permanent damage done but it has been a long road to get him here and he has been blessed with the most amazing foster family throughout.
Now he is free to run, walk and jump he is really showing his cheeky side.
He loves to steal all the toys, bark at all the big dogs and generally strut his stuff ( read as a touch of "little man thinking he is a bigger man" syndrome)
He loves the company of his little dog foster brothers and his best friend kitty cat.
It would be awesome if we could find him the company of both species in his new home.
Charlie is SUPER Social and just loves people .. this little butterfly loves to be with you doing whatever you are doing.
He did suffer some separation anxiety on arrival but this has improved so much .. but very long periods alone would not be ideal.
Charlie needs a safe and secure home - his accident was due to his excitement at the door opening and his speed to run and investigate.
He has also recently suffered the loss of his oldest foster brother and has started “marking” things.
He obviously thinks he needs to be the main man now (Bless his cotton socks) so we would need his new owner to understand this may happen but it will pass ( maybe even as soon as he gets to his new home).
Due to his previous injury we would look for a quieter, gentle home.
These good looks do not come naturally so please do bear in mind he will need a regular groom to keep his handsome show stopping looks.
Charlie has been with his foster family a long time due to his recovery and we know this move will be hard on them all.
We ask for patience and respect whilst we review applications and an understanding that we will only contact the best matches for a meet and greet.
Small dogs get so many applications and we simply will not be able to contact everyone so if you feel you could be the next (and forever) love in this baby boy’s life please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and why you think you are a perfect match.
He is a Pom x .. he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
His adoption fee will be $650 and he is located in Wynnum West
