Have you ever wanted a lion of your own? Well I’m the next best thing! Hi I’m Derek! I am a beautiful 18 month old boy who was living on the streets until a lovely family (who I had been making friends with) caught me and took me to Ginger Ninja rescue. They looked for my old home (because I’ve lived in a house before) but they had no luck. So now it’s time for me to have a new family.

I had to go and see the doctors for a haircut because I hadn’t been looking after my long fluffy coat well on the streets and they gave me this lion cut! My foster mum says I still look cute but I think I looked better with my long coat. It will grow back.

I love other kitties but I’m not too sure on the things that go woof. I can tolerate them when I get to know them but I would be happier if they were quiet.

I’m a chatterbox at night. It’s just because I want to know where you are! I’m lonely! A nightlight and a little noise helps me. I do get better as I get used to your routine.

I need to be an inside kitty but if you have a run that would be AWESOME!!! I want to be outside again but I don’t want to get lost again!
