About Pistachio
NSW - Pistachio (m/3y)
Foster carer required with view of adoption
Current location - Camden, NSW
Pistachio is a big, happy, healthy pup looking for his new furever home.
He absolutely loves his food! You will always get Pistachio's full attention whenever food is around, and he isn't afraid to act hungry even though he's had all his food, definitely don't let that fool you! 🙂
Pistachio is a brave boy when swimming in a lake or pond where he can't see the bottom, but quickly realises how deep a pool is and the depth then scares him. In summer he is easily the protector of the family, just circling the pool making sure the scary end of the pool doesn't take his people away from him.
His all time favourite toy is his yellow bucket, it can't be just any old bucket - it has to be a yellow bucket! He'll happily spend hours chewing on it, throwing it around or simply running around like a goose with it on his head. He never fails to entertain with his trusty bucket.
While inside, Pistachio protects the house by gazing out of the window and warning off anyone walking past, he will need a little bit more training to be his best self inside, so that he can be with his family always.
Pistachio has grown up around puppies, dogs and older children and loves them all, but can sometimes be a little protective of his food - after all he hasn't had enough for the day! 🤣
Pistachio's best home will include:
- Someone with time to continue his inside time training
- A strong member of the family to walk him as he is a large boy
- A warm bed inside for him to sleep
- Children 12 and above, but not essential
- A desexed female, but not essential
