About Biscuit ~ 18MO Russian Blue(adopted)
~EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST TO ADOPT~ Hello my name is Biscuit! I’m so excited about finding my forever home. I’d like to introduce myself now although I am not quite ready to be adopted yet but will be soon. 😻
Not much is known about me - I was found wandering the street. I am a desexed male, and it is thought that I’m a male Russian Blue and about 18 months old. Right now, I am quite timid - I spent the first week hiding under the couch.
Lately, my foster carers have noticed I actually do love human company, scratches around my head and to play with my toy mouse. I have a sweet little meow and purr contently. I’m sleeping quietly overnight. I use my kitty litter and have a good appetite - chicken cat food is my favourite, especially the biscuits! 🍪
I’m proving to be adaptable and resilient and my foster carers are looking forward to reporting more on my likes and dislikes as my confidence grows. At this stage, it looks like I would need a quiet home, a patient family and to be an only animal. I don’t know how I would go with another cat or dog, or small children? I’m nervous at the dogs barking next door and I tell you when I’m overwhelmed with a little bite or scratch.
I am still learning to use my litter tray and occasionally still spray ( I wasn’t desexed before I came into care so the thought is this will settle down now I am desexed). I promise I am trying.
If you would like to meet me please email catsandkittensdrn@gmail.com. I am located in Waratah NSW. My adoption fee will include all my desexing, vaccinations and microchipping. I have been treated for fleas and worms.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
