About Mr Milo
Mr Milo
A very loyal and dedicated boy for the right home.
This charming, yet cheeky boy loves outdoor play, sun lounging, belly rubs and couch snuggles. His forever family will need to love him lots and in return you will be adored unconditionally.
Mr Milo has been in foster care for four weeks, and we have completely fallen for his warm and charming personality. It hasn’t been smooth sailing for Mr Milo and his sister as they came to the rescue as a surrender through no fault of their own, and only knowing life as outside dogs. Once they came into foster care and got spoilt with lots of attention, they started to get jealous of one another. The very difficult decision of separating them had to be made. At first this was confusing for Mr Milo, however now having all the attention and becoming an inside dog, Mr Milo has adapted to single sibling life, loves to play with his foster brothers and always enjoys a cuddle on the couch.
Mr Milo’s will require to be with someone who is home a lot, even after covid. as he loves and needs his humans around. He often follows his fosters brothers from one room to another or lays by their feet when home schooling. He frets when left alone, even for short periods, therefore will require to be around humans 24/7 until he settles into his new home. At least for the first month. He currently has two teen foster brothers who he adores. Tends to cuddle more with one and plays outdoors often with the other. He will stay outdoors all day if his humans are located there too!
Walks
Daily walks are a must for Mr Milo, or he gets bored and sleeps all day instead of night. He currently has 2-3 short walks a day, explores the grounds, rolls in the grass, whilst sniffing through his surroundings. He tends to pull on the lead at times yet has improved as persistence is key with this boy. We must highlight, Mr Milo will absolutely pull away, when faced with another dog. Whilst he is becoming far less intimated and more confident, there is still the daily occasion (1/3) where he will bark loudly and do this continuously until the other dog is out of sight.
Sleeping
Mr Milo will only go to a home where he can sleep inside as he needs human company. He will sleep on the floor however we are not sure for how long that lasts. He tends to find his way to one of his foster brothers’ beds during the night as Mr Milo loves a good sleep, especially when he snuggles. You know he’s comfy when you hear the light snoring sound! Lol. You will also hear this after a walk, or outdoors when napping on the outdoor lounge on a sunny day.
Toilet
Mr Milo has had a couple of accidents inside mainly when he first arrived, probably marking his territory in the foster home that has had other dogs. He knows it’s wrong to wee inside, maybe a bit lazy not wanting to leave his humans side but if put outside regularly will happily go and do his business. Now adjusted, has not had an accident for over a week. He still may need someone to be patient as he adjusts to his new family surroundings, however I have no doubt he will adjust there too with the right guidance and patience.
Other dogs
Mr Milo is not a fan of other dogs. He barks ongoing until they are out of sight, on walks and if he sees them from his street facing observation window. Seeking to be in an only dog in his future home.
As Mr Milo will bark at other dogs on his walk it is important he is walke
