About Inky
Inky is on the search for a new place to call home. She has heaps of energy and loves to go on long walks, exploring new places and having adventures. I’m a real sweet heart and will give you loads of kisses and cuddles in exchange for attention and head and belly scratches. Inky can take a little while to warm up-to other dogs, she also likes to think she’s the boss. A firm ‘NO’ tho and she backs off, she also likes to help with landscaping (a dig box would be a great idea for this lady to play in) Inky is good when humans have food and won’t pester you, she will sit and wait patiently till she’s allowed to have some. Being a 3 year old lady Inky will still benefit from training, she knows commands but can be selective at times to what she hears. She is also a bit cautious around strange people who come across as being BIG to her, again something else further training will help with. She loves running around and playing with the ball by herself (she hasn’t mastered fetch yet) Inky is curious about cats but backed off when she got swiped at, she does settle with other dogs once she gets to know them. She was good and well behaved (on lead) around a 2 year old also but was never left unsupervised.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
