About Dexter
We are now taking expressions of interest for this beautiful Siberian Husky; Dexter. Siberian Huskies are magnificent intelligent and active dogs that make great companions, as long as you realise their unique needs and personality.
Dexter has an excellent temperament, is about two years old with all his work done.
This breed with lots of stamina, originating from their roots as working sled dogs.
Dexter unfortunately has learnt to escape, so we are looking for a home where there are good six foot fences and someone home for most the time.
“At least once a year the Siberian husky sheds their coat, and it is then, when armed with a comb and a garbage bag, that one realises the amazing density and profusion of the typical Siberian husky coat.”
Dexter is fine with other dogs and he stayed overnight in a home with several indoor cats and was fine, but a running cat may be an entirely different matter. Also note that Sibs are not to be trusted with any small pets.
Dexter came to us from a home where they didn't understand his requirements so this time we need a forever home for him.
Instead of prattling on here I have included two links below, both from the Siberian Husky Club of NSW website, with plenty of information about the breed. We strongly advise anyone contemplating getting a “Sib” to read these pages and even do your own research.
