About Marley
Beautiful Marley is a young girl on the search for her prince (or princess) to shower her with love, pats and affection.
This girl has some serious smarts, and will learn something very quickly if there is a treat involved. Not one to be picky, she loves all kinds of treats (so will take whatever is on offer) but does have a liking for dried liver treats and bones from the butcher.
Marley has grown up living on 2000m2 of land, so loves to run around and burn off all her energy. She is looking for a home with similar space, so a family on a rural block or farm would be ideal.
Having lived with another cattle dog for a few years, Marley is generally well suited to canine pals. She has stayed at a property that had other dogs and got along well with them. There is, however, a dog that she isn't very keen on (the neighbour's dog) so slow introductions to any new pals would be suggested, just to ensure everyone is happy. She also stayed with horses for a few weeks and learnt to stay away from them, their big hoofs definitely not proving of much interest to her.
Marley is great with kids and likes the attention they give her. She can be a bit jumpy and excitable at times (because little kids are so much fun) but she stops this when told to (with a simple "uh uh!").
Exercise is her favourite past time, especially runs on the beach or on wide open spaces. She is currently being trained to sit before crossing a road but still only does this if told to, but with more practice she is sure to get it.
Marley's adoption is an assisted adoption through PetRescue's Home2Home program.
Medical notes
Marley's rear right paw has one nail that sticks up. She was born with this and it doesn't cause her any issues. It is checked by the vet on every visit.
