Hi there pals, it's me, Maisy!

What's the dealio? Whats a cute gal like me doing in a shelter for? Well....Unfortunately, I wasn't getting on with the other dog I was living with, so my previous family made a tough decision to bring me here so I could find a more suited home.

So, I'm on a quest to find the perfect family! I'm a sweet girl that's soft and sensitive. I can be a little unsure when first meeting new people but warm up pretty quickly. I like my squeaky toys and play activities and would really like an active family that will be able to keep up with my needs. I would like a family that will take things slow with me and not rush me into any uncomfortable situations.

I can get a little stressed when left alone so it may be best for me to go home with someone who is home often and not gone for long hours. Hopefully, once I'm in a routine this won't bother me too much. I will, however, need plenty of stimulation and enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.

I can struggle with some impulse control around other dogs and would love my family to help work on this with me through lots of positive training. In the future, I could have social, well-matched doggo friends but at the moment I'd really like the focus to be on me getting acquainted with my new fam.
