🖤🤍 MEET MARSHALL 🤍🖤
Hello there, my name is Marshall and I am a shyish but very friendly cat.
I look a bit different since I had part of my nose cut off due to cancer. I will need to be an indoor-only cat due to my light colour and previous history. I’m however 100% ok and healthy, plus foster mum thinks I am very cute. I have the most adorable little snore which you will hear a lot since I sleep throughout most of the day.
I love pats and I will happily lay down, and even roll over onto my tummy while you pat me for as long as you like. I love to play as well and will be happy to play with you with a mouse toy or on my own. My foster carer thinks it’s funny that I can spend hours entertaining myself with a toy. I spend most of the day curled up on the floor fast asleep and snoring (except for when you wake me up for a pat or to play). At night, that’s when I like to be active and I play with my toys chasing them all over the house and having a great time.
I have had a bit of a tough life recently with my nose surgery, cat flu, and ringworm but other than looking a bit different, you wouldn’t be able to tell as I am the most energetic and playful cat now especially compared to the other cat that I live with that is almost 4 years younger!
I currently live with another cat and we get along fine. We don’t really play together (at least my foster mum hasn’t seen it) but we happily live in the same space. I would probably be ok living with another cat if they are chilled, and we have a good slow introduction. My foster mum thinks I would do great with another playful cat to chase around all night.
I don’t live with dogs or children at my current home however, due to my very flexible nature, my foster mum thinks I would get on fine with a dog if we have a slow introduction. I would probably also be fine with kids if they can respect my boundaries, especially at the beginning as I can be a bit shy. Don’t worry though, I will come around fast. My foster mum was able to pat me within a day of us living together and I now happily roll over only my tummy for some gentle rubs. The only thing that I don’t like really is being touched directly on my nose and that’s understandable as it’s probably a bit sensitive.
I love my food and I have a bit of wet food morning and night and I graze on dry food throughout the day. I am very good with my litter and I use it correctly every time. My foster mum thinks that I will become the cuddliest and most loving cat in my forever home. I just need to find my perfect human family now.

3056 - Marshall
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Colour: Black and White
DOB: 07/11/2014
Adoption Fee: $100
*Marshall’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment
Medical Notes: Marshall had cat flu, which is a respiratory infection. He was treated for this and given the all clear by the vet. He was also exposed to Ringworm, a common fungal infection, but did not show symptoms or require treatment.
Marshall has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Due to his FIV Marshall will need to be an indoor only cat. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
