About Busta
Busta was Surrendered to the RSPCA by his owner as they were unable to look after him any longer. His only crime is his separation anxiety, which causes him to go walk about when he is left alone.
In his previous life, Buster lived with another dog, children and was friendly towards cats and rabbits. He has been well socialised and really wants to please his owners. He is a typical staffy however, and will make short work of most toys given to him. Things like KONG Extreme and Aussie Dog Chew toys will be a must!
Busta has made himself at home in the Office at the Animal Care Centre. He happily sleeps the day away on his bed and follows the staff around during breaks. He was initially quite stressed while adapting to shelter life, but now that he has a routine, is allowed inside and feels confident that he wont be left alone for too long, he has settled in nicely.
Busters new home will need a good quality colourbond fence. He has been known to push his way through wood panels and go under wire fences. He is not prone to jumping over fences, but a decent height fence will be needed to prevent him from learning how to jump over them.
As you can see from his profile picture, Busta has put on an extra layer of insulation for winter. He will need to lose a couple of kilos to make sure he stays in good health, but a good quality light food like Hills Science Diet will get him there in no time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
