HI I'm Meggs... (as in Ginger 😉)

This wiry haired gorgeous girl is a bit special, so she needs a very special owner.
She has lots of love and energy to give, but she really only wants to give it to her chosen people and be the only ""pet"" in the house. A child free household would be better suited.
She is bouncy & boisterous, loyal & affectionate, a quirky playful puppy that just wants to hang out with her human/s.

She is still learning all her manners, while trying to exert all that puppy energy, so even though she is responding really well to consistent training and unfortunately she is far too boisterous & dominant for young children.

She obeys simple commands such Sit, Stay, Lay down, Come, Fetch, Up (on the couch or into the car)
She is toilet trained, walks well on a lead, enjoys the beach and fetching a ball in the backyard.

She is an exceptional alarm dog, she will bark if someone comes onto the property and provided you inspect the intrusion, she will stop barking and become calm again. She is very reactive to kids on scooters and sounds she is not use to.

She has very clicky hips (hip dysplasia) which don't seem to bother her and the vet advises that the hips cope better after the first 12 months of growing, but will make her more susceptible to arthritis, possibly from as early as 5 to 6 years of age.

She loves to chew! She is definitely in that puppy stage! She just loves being with her (adult) humans, and wants to be near them when sleeping. She needs a strong adult leader that will be consistent in their guidance and training. She will reward them with loads of love and loyalty.
