About Cowboy
*In foster care in Darlinghurst, Sydney*
A sweet-natured and friendly indoor cat, Cowboy loves nothing more than a good head or chin scratch, and a warm lap or sunbeam to lounge in!
This precious boy has delighted his foster carer with his inquisitive and affectionate personality. He has the rare distinction of looking almost exactly like Apple's rabbit emoji :)
Despite his name, Cowboy does tend to be very timid in new situations and will need a couple of places he can retreat to when visitors come around. He'll definitely benefit from a loving, patient new purrson who will allow him as much time and space as he needs to get comfortable in his new home.
Like all Maggie's pets, Cowboy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be very calm, with not too much noise or bustle with someone who will also be patient as I take my time getting used to my new surroundings. I love affection from my special people, and adore watching birdlife and neighbourhood goings-on from the windowsill.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I do enjoy an occasional romp around with my feather and mouse toys! Once I'm pooped out, I'll seek out the nearest lap or patch of sun and snooze the rest of the day away.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Since I'm a little shy and prone to startling, I think I'd be happier in a house with adults only, or older children.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I haven't met any cats or dogs since coming into foster care. I think dogs would be too much for me, but it's possible I could bond with a friendly feline sibling!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
