About Liam
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Lovely Liam is best described as a gorgeous gentle giant! Originally from a large street colony where he had a tendency to hang back or be pushed aside, he's now on the lookout for a warm, safe and comfy forever home where he'll be made to feel like the best boy in the room <3
This special fellow can be a little shy and timid at first - however with patience, gentle guidance and plenty of good hearty food, he'll find his feet quickly. He has a thick, luscious coat and a purr like a truck :) While he's not a lap cat, he does love butt scratches, long brushing sessions, and sleeping at the end of your bed with his head on your toes.
Like all Maggie's pets, Liam is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be quiet and calm, where I'm given the space and time to fully settle in and adjust to my new indoor lifestyle. I'll need lots of soft comfy places where I can rest throughout the day, and some windows too so I can indulge my favourite hobby of birdwatching.
My dream home would also have a safe and secure outdoor enclosure for me. I'd really love to feel the grass under my paws again!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty standard, I reckon! Like most cats I'm a bit of a couch potato during the day, with small bursts of energy every now and then. At night I'm more likely to play and explore. Currently my favourite toys are my mouse and ribbons on a stick :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Ideally an adult household (or one with cat-loving teenagers) would suit me best. I don't like super active environments with lots of noises, so younger kids won't be a good match unfortunately.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've been trying to make friends with the neighbour's cat, so my foster carers believe I'd be happiest in a home with another cat or maybe even a dog!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
