About Jellybean
*In foster care in Marrickville, Sydney*
Jellybean is a completely adorable girl with a beautiful soft coat and the cutest pink button nose you've ever seen! Full of affection, she enjoys jumping up on the bed and settling like a loaf on your chest :) She also really likes to be picked up, and will stand up on her back legs and reach her arms up to you as you bend down to get her, before purring contentedly on your shoulder - as long as it's your left shoulder! (She knows exactly what she wants!)
Sweet yet sassy, Jellybean adores drinking water from a glass or a tap (she's very fancy that way!), chasing her own tail, and hanging out with her favourite humans. She can't wait to meet you and see if it's a purrfect match!
Like all Maggie's pets, Jellybean is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'll be honest - I'm a bit of an attention hog, so a home without other pets or small children would be the absolute best home for me. (Be aware that I tend to prefer attention on my own terms, and will give you a nibble or a swipe to let you know if now is not the time. Or on occasion during a cuddling session, I might even give you an affectionate love bite - yes, I'm a tad cheeky!) I crave company, so if you're home a lot that would also be great.
I'm not too needy otherwise, I promise! I do enjoy sunning myself in windows or in front of the heater, and a nice view of local goings-on is always fun.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a pretty relaxed cat by nature, with the occasional burst of nutty playfulness. Sometimes I like to dart out from under the bed and pounce on your toes :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: It's possible I'll do well with older children (12+ years) who know how to respect my boundaries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'll be happiest as an only cat - but I could be open to a kitten sibling who I can raise and boss around!

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
