About Wilson
Wilson ❤️
They say you can always see hope in a dog’s eyes and that has never been truer than with Wilson.
On his pound picture we were not even sure he had eyes and if he did we were sure they were damaged.
But nope he had just lost hope.
Wilson was just 8 months old and humans had already broken him.
He arrived with a welded-on chain collar, a nasty wound to his side, the tips of his ears eaten by mites and flies and a total fear of human touch.
And then he opened his beautiful eyes and his foster momma knew she could fix him.
Wilson is now almost 9 months old and he is a new boy. 🥰
He is a typical young active kelpie who loves to run, chase and play but he is also desperate for company and reassurance.
He is dog friendly and loves all humans – he is untested with cats
He loves nothing more than to be close to his humans and is going to be the most loyal and loving companion.
Wilson has done so well adapting to family life – he still has a toilet accident here and there but he is so eager to please he will get there eventually.
He can still be a little skittish with raised hands, loud noises, and sudden movements.
Wilson will need an active family who will include him in every aspect of their life.
He has working dog in his DNA so will need regular physical and mental stimulation as well as constant love and positive reinforcement.
Experience with working breeds would be just awesome.
Wilson – Just look at those eyes.❤️
He is desexed, vaccinated to date, microchipped and is up to date with his flea and worm treatment.
Wilsons adoption fee is $475 and he is in Foster Care at Caboolture
If you would like to meet him, please send us a message with LOTS of info about yourself and the lifestyle you can offer Wilson.
Due to COVID we are restricting the number of meet and greets so will need to choose best matches from the info provided so please give as much as you can.
We do expect a lot of interest in Wilson and we are all volunteers so only those successful for a meet will be contacted.
Thank You for Understanding
