MAX IS NOT SUITABLE FOR APARTMENT LIVING.
Max is a friendly and playful young boy who gets on well with other dogs. Although he doesn’t mind meeting other dogs, Max prefers all the attention to himself so would be best in a home as your only pet.
Max bonds quite strongly to a single person and enjoys company so he would make a great companion for a retired person or a single person who works from home. Max is also child friendly, so respectful visiting children over 8 years will be no problem. Max will need to be an inside dog as he loves the company of people and being part of the family.
He will let you know when someone or something is around that he doesn’t like with some enthusiastic barking. His new owner will need to continue working on his barking so that Max understands what is a threat and what isn’t.
Max does require regular exercise and enjoys his walks. He walks well on a lead but can pull a little if there is something exciting to smell, but at 11kgs he is easily managed. Max knows basic commands and with more regular training and positive reinforcement he will follow commands well. Max still needs some guidance and patience with his toilet training. He is not destructive and won’t dig up your yard or chew your prized possessions if you give him attention and a few toys to play with.
Max is a truly lovely boy who just wants his own person to love. A person who can spend their days with him, take him on adventures, play with him and give him lots of attention. In return, he will be a loving and loyal companion.
