About Arie
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
My name is Arie and my nickname is 'Scallywag'. I'm young, full of energy and curiosity and I can be very naughty at times, but my foster family is trying to teach me right from wrong. I've learned to play and how to fetch . I know my name and I come when I'm called. I may be only little, but I have an enormous purr and a huge personality!
My Ideal Home:
A home with a family where I am loved. You will need alot of patience with me as I have a strong personality and I know what I want, and I try to get it, and sometimes this means you may find me licking plates in the sink ... I know it's wrong, but you've gotta try... right? Because of my early beginnings I had to search for food and fend for myself, so these habits are hard to break. I know I can be a good cat because I know my name and I come when called. I'm really good with the litter tray but I need some guidance (and patience) while I learn to be better behaved. I love to play, so you must have time for me and to teach me things like 'high fives'. It would be great to have a playmate (small dog or another cat) or perhaps some older children. I'm very smart and learn new tricks easily... oh, and I love to cuddle up after along day, on your lap and then on your bed (if that's ok with you?)
What is Known About My Background:
I was surrendered to the RSPCA from a home that had many cats that were sick and under nourished. I was very sick when I came into care but I am recovering well and looking forward to new, fun filled life with a wonderful family that will love and protect me like one of their own.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I love the cat at my foster home, he is older than me and I tease him alot! I'm unsure how I would be with dogs but I'm sure with the right introduction I would be fine. I'm ok around older children (over 10) but unsure about younger children.
