Megsie

MEGSIE #2695 is an adorable 17 month old, 15kg wire haired terrier. She was brought into care from the Council Pound and has not had a lot of training. Despite that, Megsie is a sweet girl, a little bit of a wild child initially but when she calms down she is an affectionate loyal pup who loves to hang with her people. She does jump up a bit to get more cuddles, as a lot of the littlies do. Megsie is very much an inside in front of the fire, on the end of the bed or wherever my human is kinda gal and as she is making excellent progress with toilet training, that won't be a problem for the right home. She has not been around children in foster care but her carer believes she would be O.K. with animal respectful pre-teen and older children.
She has the terrier gene and can seem a bit dominating and feisty towards other dogs regardless of their size and can be a little fear aggressive through fences etc. She would benefit from being an only dog at home. She hasn't experienced a lot of socialising in her short years so care will be needed with introductions to other dogs. This also applies with car rides and although she has only had a couple of trips she enjoys it because she loves to be with her human. Megsie hasn't had a great start and would really benefit from someone or a family to show her a lot of patience and loving and teach her their boundaries and how it feels to be a part of a family unit. A home with cats or unsecured chooks or birds at this stage is not suitable for little Megsie.
Megsie is desexed, chipped, vaccinated, worm/flea treated and vet checked.
