About Tam
* House-trained
* Rides well in the car
* Walks well on lead
* Good recall
* Compatible with older children
Tam is a gentle and affectionate girl who is looking for a home where she will be showered with love. She is intelligent, responds well to training and is motivated by both treats and praise.
Tam is friendly with everyone she meets and wants pats and belly rubs from all; this love extends to children, however she can be sensitive to loud noises and grabby hands, and therefore is best suited to older kids who can respect her boundaries.
Tam has already figured out how to be a lovely house guest; she has excellent manners both in the home and out in public. She is an excellent adventure buddy, as she is well behaved on and off lead, and she loves to explore new things.
Tam is untested with cats. She is not aggressive towards other dogs, however she is fearful of them and uncomfortable being in their presence; she will therefore be best suited to an only dog home, however has the potential to make doggy friends with suitable companions.
Although Tam is happiest when she is with her people, she is learning to enjoy time outside alone, sun-baking and playing with her tennis ball. She enjoys sniffing and running around the yard with her toys, so she would benefit from a bit of space for her to play. Given her mix of farming breeds, Tam will require daily physical and mental stimulation to ensure her body and brain are kept active and healthy.
