About Athena
Meet Athena!
Athena came to us as a surrender, and was a bit timid from moving homes. She is a very affectionate girl and once she is comfortable, she will always try to either cuddle or be close by her human! However she is also okay being left on her own for periods of time.
She gets excited when her foster family get home and she loves her food! Athena is house trained and is very much an indoor dog, and has recently conquered her fear of walking the stairs and is now also comfortable walking on floorboards/tiles. This is due to the love, and time her foster family have put in with her. She only requires short walks once a day, so is quite easy to please, and would be fine in an apartment.
Initially her family struggled to get her to leave the house however now she does best on walks in early mornings or later in the evening, when it is a bit quieter, and gets very excited to go on her daily walk!
Athena previously lived with dogs of other breeds and seems to be curious/playful when coming across other dogs on walks. She really dislikes noises from young children and if she hears young kids playing will generally freeze when we are out for walks. Athena would best suit a home with children over the age of 12 so she doesnt feel anxious in her new home.
Athena is a beautiful easy going girl, looking for her second chance at life! Is that with you?
