Zali ~ 4yr Old Mastiff X Boxer

Hi, I am Zali, a 4yo Mastiff x Boxer who is on the hunt for a new family. I am a big lovable girl who loves to walk and run with my foster family, going to the beach or river for a swim and being outdoors.

I only jump up when I meet new people because it’s so exciting, but my foster mum has been teaching me that this is not always a good idea and I am getting better. I don’t dig or try to escape, because I just love being at home. I love running around the backyard playing with my toys and it’s even better when someone joins in.

I have a 2yo human foster brother and I am great with him. I am very gentle around him and don’t knock him over because, I love getting cuddles from him and when he plays with me. I am happy to travel in the car, as it usually means we are off on an adventure and this excites me. When it comes to walking or being out and about, I get quite excited and will pull on my lead quite strongly, but even my own energy wears me out, so I settle down quickly. My foster mum is teaching me to stay balanced.

I sleep in an outdoor area with my furry foster sisters and brother and I tend to hog the beds. I will let you in on a secret though – I won’t say NO if you let me sleep inside though. When I do spend time inside, I just chill and become a bit of a lounge AND bed hog. I am pretty good at letting you know if I need to go to the toilet when I’m inside, but I can be a bit stubborn if I’m not ready to go outside.

I am not really fussed on what’s happening outside my yard, so I won’t bark unless someone that I don’t know comes to my yard. I am not aggressive and am great at waiting for my food – sitting at (on) your feet until I’m told.
I still need some training and would love to have a family who will take me out daily for walks or runs and on fun adventures when there is more time. I just love hanging with my peeps, but also know that there are times where I might have to be home alone and that’s ok. If I have been for a walk and have my toys, I will happily wait for you to come home.

I am located within the Newcastle Area NSW and my adoption fee is $300 which includes microchipping, vaccinations and desexing. I am up to date with all flea, tick and worming treatments.
