About Ellie ~ 4yr Old Kelpie X (On Trial 21/10/20)
Let me introduce the gorgeous Ellie. This stunning girl is a 4 year old Kelpie cross, with so much love to give. Ellie is a little nervous when meeting new people, but once shes comfortable with you, she will shower you with love and affection! She absolutely adores cuddles and spending quality time with her foster family.
Ellie currently lives with another dog who she gets on with very well. However, she is unsure when meeting new dogs, so if there were to be any other dogs in her new home, a slow and proper introduction would be needed. Ellie would prefer to live with a placid dog, no young dogs or puppies, as they might be too much for her.
She has had basic training but we are looking for a home with dedicated owners to give her ongoing training. Ellie pulls a little when being walked, but we think she would do very well with a little more training! Ellie is not fully toilet trained yet, but she would love to be welcomed inside and shown how to behave properly inside the home.
A home with kids over the age of 12 would be preferred, as the kids need to be able to understand that Ellie might need some time to herself.
Ellie is looking for a patient and understanding home that is willing to move at her pace. All she wants is love and to be treated as part of the family.
If you feel that you can offer Ellie the perfect forever home, you can contact her foster carer Charlotte at charlotte96.drn@gmail.com
You can also submit an adoption questionnaire at https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt.
Sally is located at Woodberry NSW (west of Newcastle NSW). Her adoption fee is $400 which includes desexing, microchip and vaccinations. Ellie is up to date with all worming and flea treatments and is a happy healthy girl ready to find her forever home.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
