Say hi to Boof 👋, Boof is an older gentleman at 9 years of age, who is a Tibetan Spabiel. He does have some requirements & is looking for a very special family who will love him in his older days🥰..

Boof is good with cats (likes them a little too much but definitely no aggression) & dogs ✅.. He is NOT suited to be around young children. Please don’t apply. This includes visiting children eg grandchildren, nieces, nephews etc.

Boof came into our care due to a mild dislike of toddlers, after having a few bad experiences. He is an older gentleman who loves belly rubs and sleeping next to you😴

Unfortunately Boof is in kidney failure. We are doing everything we possibly can for him, we have had him assessed by our amazing vet who has given the all clear to find an understanding & willing family to love Boof in his golden days 💋. They will need to be prepared to continue the medical needs Boof will require at this stage as he requires a strict diet & no stress 😎.. He also doesn’t really like those loud storms & has some arthritis due to age.

Otherwise.... Boof is a super, super, loving, cuddly little man 💛.

He loves walks and is a champion on the lead 🦮, however does not do well on long distance due to arthritis. This also affects his willingness to jump, so steps or a ramp might be a nice idea if you wish for him to be able to get up & down off things himself 🛋.

He has enjoyed living with two small dogs and a cat while in foster care 🐾 , however previously he had 100% of the attention and we believe he would do better in this environment😊.

Boof requires a very strict diet 🥘 and a low stress environment to help with the function of his kidneys. He is currently on K/D Hills prescription diet which he seems to love 😊. He will also require regular grooming & brushing 💇..

Boof doesn’t really like being left alone & can be a bit of a backyard escape artist 😣 so even though he's a smaller dog he will require a secure area. Apartment applications are also accepted 🏙
