About Zara
Lovely Zara was surrendered after her latest litter of puppies were given away.
At a mere 2 years old, she has already given birth to several litters of puppies - all the loose skin under her belly will shrink back to almost nothing eventually. We are so very happy that she will not have to continue producing babies.
Her young owner has a baby of her own and doesn’t have time any more for delightful Zara.
She’s the sweetest natured girl with people and dogs (including small yappy dogs), but not so with poultry, she once caught a guinea fowl. She is not at all cat aggressive.
Zara’s very affectionate and loves a cuddle, she loves a bit of a chat too. She is very good with sitting and doesn’t jump on people.
She hasn’t been on a leash much, but is learning that leashes are for humans to take her for a walk, not the other way round! With regular walks, Zara will quickly catch on.
Zara’s a very well behaved girl in the car and cooperates well with getting herself in the car, you don’t have to help lift her 30 kilos in - she’s about the size of a Labrador.
She’s a playful girl and loves carrying rope toys around. Though she’s happy to have doggie company, she particularly enjoys being with her humans.
All in all a truly delightful girl.
She has a funny little squiggly tail, a deformity she was born with.
Zara’s in care at Moree, NSW. Enquiries to Denise on 0429 457 558.
Due to the situation with border closures, Zara’s new family will need to be prepared to drive to Moree to collect her (she’s well worth the drive!) Moree is about a 7 hour drive from Sydney.
Please send us an email and tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer her ie. who is in your family, their work hours now and post Covid, the kind of activities and outings she will be included in, whether she will be allowed inside etc.
