About Shelby 🐶
This handsome man is Shelby, he is our 4 yr old Golden Retriever X.
Shelby is currently an only dog but is a very social dog and we think he would do well with a mate to keep him company while his humans are at work or enough mental stimulation to occupy him through out the day if he is an only dog.
Shelby will also need a home without cats.
Shelby can be a very high energy dog so is ideally looking for a family that will take him for walks daily and work off his energy.
Shelby absolutely loves people and can get a little excited upon meeting new people but does listen when told to settle down.
He is a quick learner and loves to please the people around him.
He currently lives with a special needs child and is very gentle and respectful around him. They are best buds.
Shelby will need a secure yard, and would be suited to a large yard so he has room to run and play.
Shelby would love to be made apart of his new family and would love to go on adventures with them.
He is currently an outside only dog.
If you think Shelby sounds perfect for your family and you are looking for that loyal companion then please apply.
Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
