Hi. I'm Charlie. I'm a 5-year-old Maltese Terrier mix.
I'm just a little guy. I weigh in at under 5kgs.
I'm an extremely lovable boy, but I need a very special person to help me become the best boy I can be. I have a few habits that can be easily managed if I'm in the right home, so please don't apply for me unless you fit the below criteria.
I'm looking for a home with an older man. I love the ladies, but just a bit too much (I have a habit of humping them). This will settle down with time as I have now been desexed. I am so much calmer in male human company.
I am happy to just be near you or on your lap. Cuddles are the best thing in the world. I need someone who is home most of the time as I do get anxious when I'm left alone. I'm good with other dogs, but I would prefer to have my human all to myself. I pay no attention to the cats here in care. I love going for walks and pottering about in the garden.
I am not house trained and think the world is my toilet, however since I lost my 'jingleberries' this has slowed down a lot. For this reason, I have started crate training and will need someone who is prepared to continue with this. I'm a clever little guy. A firm Uh-uh usually stops me in my tracks & refocuses me back to you.
As you can see, I need patient owner who is understanding of my needs. Someone who understands I'm just a puppy in a 5-year-old body.
If that's you, then foster mum would love to hear from you.
Love & licks,
Charlie
