About Cookie 🍪
When our family met Cookie, we thought he was from another planet. The big black and white cat, rescued from the street, where he was left to die in the garbage collection bin. As I picked him up, I felt his heart beat and the loudest purring that I have ever heard. I knew he was the guy with the biggest heart.
Cookie is that needy cat that reminds us of our own dogs. He follows you around, eats your avocado toasts while you're not looking, steals your chocolate to taste and chases flies and other living creatures. But as soon as he sees you, he jumps right onto your chest and falls asleep there. Cookie is in constant need to feel his human's heartbeat, that's his thing.
He will only be suitable for a family that is looking for a needy cat. Cookie sleeps with the family, sometimes on top of us, sometimes next to us and sometimes right under the blankets. He is clumsy and funny, he likes to jump on things, but almost always falls.
Cookie is dog friendly but will require a cat friendly dog to welcome him.
When guests come around to our place, Cookie runs to say hi to them....Jumps on their laps and rubs against their face. Everyone who meets this little guy, loves him.
He currently lives with another three cats, two dogs, two adults and one 12 mth old baby girl. Cookie loves to follow her around, but sometimes becomes overwhelmed and bites her out of excitement. Hence, he won't be suitable for families with small babies, as he can be too mouthy when excitement kicks in.
If you or your family are looking for a cat with an ancient soul, the cat that will be your best friend until the last breath, the pal that will be loyal to you when the world falls apart… Well, look no further and come meet Cookie boy.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
