About Jersey (Assisted Rehome) ⭐
Isn't this girl a stunner! Although originally thought to be Staffy x, Jersey is looking more Rhodesian Ridgeback than anything....except when it comes to her size! She's currently a medium size dog (around Kelpie size).
Jersey is an inquisitive, loyal, active 9mth old pup who adores her humans. Although she is currently living with another dog, Jersey does show signs of jealousy and would be better suited as an only dog.
This girl has always lived both inside and outside as part of the family. She is toilet trained, will sit for treats and does have good recall (unless there's something more interesting to focus on). Jersey loves her toys and constantly finding interesting things in the garden to keep her amused.
Training should be fairly simple with this gorgeous girl....she loves treats!
Jersey is quite an active girl and will need daily walks to keep her out of mischief. She's then a chilled, relaxed girl by night and sleeps indoors.
Loud noises can make her feel uncomfortable, and she will usually just remove herself from the situation and head off to do her own thing (somewhere quieter). She does love the company of children, but has proven to be a little too much for the little ones, and better suited to a family with teenage children or active adults. Jersey loves human companionship and will simply lap up all the attention on offer.
She would do well as an only dog, if she had the company of her humans. She would certainly benefit from ongoing training in her new home as well as continued socialisation with other dogs while still young.
Jersey would not cope well in a home as an only dog with everyone working full time (unless she could accompany them to work daily), so please consider this before applying. She can be destructive when left alone for long periods.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
