About Heidi (C1477)*Adopted*
Timid heidi is slowly coming out of her shell. Dubbed ‘heidi the hiding cat’, she once lived at a local caravan park. This black and white calico cat likes to sleep in dark, sheltered places during the day, the quieter the better. She would suit a quiet household as she gets disturbed by loud noises. Though usually you have to wait for heidi to come to you for a pat, foster carer daphne said she has recently begun the habit of jumping onto her bed at night and nuzzling her head for cuddles. Heidi is well toilet trained, a fantastic mouse hunter and great soccer player. She learns quickly, when daphne discovered the unusual quirk of scratching the couch horizontally, she bought a scratching post and laid it down on the floor. Heidi quickly took to scratching this when she felt the urge, but still in a horizontal fashion. She is becoming much more comfortable with her foster parents so with a little bit of time, she would become a great big sook to her new owner. She wants someone to love her and will return the favour; she just needs to learn to trust you first. Heidi has an interesting pattern on her face, much like an omega sign, and amber/gold eyes. She is quite nocturnal so will sleep during the day and want to play in the evening. She would be the perfect pet for a working individual or couple. Heidi is clever, amusing and a softie at heart.
