Dear little Otis, he can be sometimes a little nervous but he is mostly fun and loving and sweet. He has a luxatting patella, this is why he sometimes limps. He was born with this and several vets checks have confirmed that this doesnāt need anything further, it doesnāt cause him pain, he is happy and fine just the way he is.
He is a little bit jealous and this is why he likes to be the only pet, he just wants you all to himself, and after a few false starts in life, why wouldnāt he be worried about losing his person. He just wants what we all want, live , security, acceptance.
He can be initially snappy at first and doesnāt like to be picked up. He does over come this over time, but you must be prepared to be patient , very patient. He will also bark when left alone , do someone who is home more often then not.

āA message from his carerā
āāāāOtis is a loving and snuggly boy once he gets to know you. He initially needs a bit of space but loves a warm lap and gentle pats. He enjoys company to play but also can happily sit outside in the sun when you're not home. Otis barks once or twice when he hears or sees another dog but quiets down immediately. Otis will probably need to be the only dog in the family.
Otis walks well on the lead and is house trained. He's enthusiastic about learning new tricks and is eager to please. āāāā
