Jella is the sweetest, most gentle soul. She has a beautiful nature and recently had a very bad experience which has left her with a patchy coat and fur missing. She was severely neglected and left to die in a suburban back yard until neighbours called the police. She was taken into care for some tlc and vet care. We dont know the circumstances of this situation but we do know that prior to this she was a very much loved and spoilt girl who always got the best of everything , the best food and regular grooming. We know Jella has been trained and loved and this short horror was a small party of her life. She loves walks and can walk for a long time. She is house trained and loves people and loves walking and would need a person experienced with the breed who is prepared to give her a lovely retirement. She is a fussy eater so you will need to be prepared for chicken and veggies . But trust me when I say she is absolutely worth it.

A message from her carer
She is a lovely old girl. Stays a fair bit outside in the sun during the day, quite happily sleeping in the back yard but will come looking for you for some attention. Quiet and well behaved. She will sometimes chase her tail or do zoomies in the yard.
Happy to stay at home when we are out – no barking. Will find her laying up against the inside of the gate on our return, waiting.
She will come up to you and stare, and if you ignore her she will bark at you. She either wants a cuddle and pat or else some food. (I am waiting for her to stamp her foot!).
Loves her walks and knows when I get the lead – she heads to the front gate waiting. She also loves going in the car and sits nicely in the back. Likes the window open. When we walks past the car she stops there first. She is quite bouncy for her age and will have a trot start with.
Loves people and especially children. Leans into them. Mostly dog friendly.
Not sure how good her hearing is as will quite often ignore when you call. She will sit when asked.
Good to groom. Will lay down and present her legs etc for brushing. Will push you away when had enough or will just get up and go away.
FOOD. This is another story. Very very fussy eater. Mostly will not eat treats. Will sometimes accept a soft ‘strap’. Will eat something one week and the next totally against it. Then the week after perhaps go back to it again. Will not eat biscuits by themselves. Sometimes eats biscuits if totally mashed into dog roll. Dog roll is her main go to. She will also eat the fresh dog meatballs but can be picky about them. The only wet tin food she ate was Hills Science Diet Puppy Food but that was inconsistent as well. Mostly she will eat out of her bowl, sometimes prefers off the floor and sometimes hand feeding…… All guesswork to me at the time. She will come back and stare at you if she wants more. I keep several types of food in the bottom of the fridge.
Medical notes
Jella is underweight and has patchy fur, she will need some tlc
