About Annie
Annie is a medium sized collie x with long legs and, true to her working breed, is intelligent & needs mental & physical stimulation.
Annie would do best with an owner that has time for her & wants to do activities with her like fly ball or agility. Annie loves company & would do well with another dog her size & energy to burn her energy with & a decent size yard to run. Annie is also happy to follow you around & lay at your feet or help you in the garden but only after her energy is spent with a walk or a run.
This lovely girl is affectionate with her family, but is uncomfortable with some people she meets and she needs an experienced owner who will work on this.
Annie is crate trained and wants a home where she will be an indoor/outdoor dog sleeping indoors at night. No cats, pocket pets or small dogs. Thankyou
** If you are an experienced dog owner, live in Sydney and are interested in fostering and helping to train Annie, please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com. Thank you.

***Special Update***
Because of the Coronavirus situation we are receiving an unprecedented number of enquiries. We are just a small group of people and are still working hard to get dogs and cats out of pounds and to safety as well as answer enquiries about animals we already have in care. Please be patient with us as we work through the enquiries. Thank you.
If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please email us at poundrescue@yahoo.com with your phone number, a brief description of the family home you can offer - the number of adults and children in the home, other pets, how long the animal would be left on its own each day, whether your fencing is secure and so on. PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN YOUR EMAIL TO US.
We try and answer all enquiries asap but are all volunteers, so we thank you for your patience.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
