About Peanut
Peanut will steal your heart, he will also chat back whenever you’re taking too long with breakfast, throwing the ball or just not paying attention to him in general.
He is incredibly social and has a very gentle soul but needs firm and clear guidance. Peanut thinks he is friends with everyone...dogs, cats and other humans big or small. He can happily live his life with a variety of humans and other animals. He loves to have a doggy companion for play time at home ( as long as they don't try to steal his toys or food!!)
Whilst his favourite position in the household is that of a couch potato, he is also a keen explorer so requires daily exercise and training, otherwise he might take the initiative to do this exploring himself just to make sure the neighbours haven’t run away!, therefore secure fencing is required. He would love to be a part of his new family outings and adventures and would make an ideal adventure buddy.
Peanut’s ideal forever home would be one where he is part of the family and can be with his people for a good portion of the day, if that’s at your feet while you work, in the yard throwing the ball or taking a ride in the car. He is not suited to being left alone all day without another dog for company.
Peanut is a companion dog he loves his people and he has foundational training, is toilet trained, crate trained but does need more extensive training so people who are dedicated to his training, ongoing socialisation and happiness needs would be ideal.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
