Meet Ruby - a social butterfly who loves other dogs. She sweet, gentle, well-mannered and eager to please.

She is great on the lead, has excellent recall off lead and is the life and soul of the beach and dog park and you never have to worry that she might get into a scrap.

Ruby responds to commands well - comes when called and responds to whistle or rattling of car keys when in the park. She sits. She waits before leaving through doors or jumping out of the car.

Ruby loves meeting new people in and out of the home but she loves meeting dogs even more. Having lived with a cat before Ruby does not mind being friends them. She is a little bit wary of the vacuum cleaner and loud noises but she does not make a fuss.

At night ruby sleeps in her foster carer's bedroom on a dog bed and on her carer's bed when invited.

Being a very social dog, Ruby frets when left alone for a long time. She not a dog for a 5 day working household with no other interaction. Ruby would suit someone or a family who can be at home part of the time and who at can exercise her extensively. Ruby is not a good running partner because she tends to stop and look around before continuing her walk.
