Percy

Meet our bundle of happiness with the sweetest grin, Percy. Due to no fault of his own, this special boy was located in town and came to SAFE to find a family of his own. Percy boy is an outgoing fella who needs a special home that can keep up with his happiness and energy levels.

Currently in a home with cats and other dogs both big and small, Percy is gentle with all he meets. He can sometimes become too much for other dogs and will get told off by the older furry companions however he is learning his manners and blossoming more and more every day. He is friends with large breed dogs, all the way to accepting and loving teeny puppies that also come to stay - any furry pal is a friend of Percy's!

Being a Kelpie X Jack Russell and full of beans, he has a little face so he isn't expected to grow very big however has stilts for legs! Percy has a lot of energy and loves to run in the backyard and when tired, be by his humans side. Still learning, when Percy is excited he will jump however is learning once he sits and listens, that is when he will receive pats and love. He is needing a home that can give him the one on one attention he craves and train him further as he is still needing extra loving.
He is eager to learn and please his humans and loves food so training should be a breeze. Percy is most happiest when he can be next to you or when the toys come out, he likes to chase and jump around like a kangaroo. He is finding his voice and likes to talk, however this is more for attention and him wanting more love and belly rubs. Percy is almost toilet trained and doesn't like to be alone so will need a home where she has another furry dog friend or someone who is home often that can give him the time he needs - otherwise he will cry and be super sad.
