The name's Pond, James Pond.

You've probably read about me on social media and if you haven't then quite honestly I'm appalled. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume if you haven't heard about me you must have had your internet cut off or something and tell you a bit about myself.

Here I was one day minding my own business down by my local river looking to score myself a treaty. I saw what I thought was a tasty snack lying in the bushes but man was I wrong! Before I knew it I was wrapped up in fishing wire and had multiple fishing hooks stuck in my back leg!! I tried to get them out on my own but ended up swallowing a heap of fishing wire.

I started to feel really sick and some lovely human took me into the vet where I vomited up a huge handful of wire, I'm really lucky that I didn't need surgery to get it out. The vets removed the hooks from my leg and stitched me up good as new.

I've been chilling in a foster home for a few weeks and my foster mum says I am such a low maintenance guy. All I really need to be happy is a sunny spot by the window and I'll nap the day away.

At night time tho I like to keep watch at the window for any passing villains! If I can't get to the window I will wake you up and demand you open the blinds, I mean who else is going to protect you.

I do love a cuddle and a smooch but don't pick me up please, it annoys me. Sometimes I can get a little too over stimulated with playing and vigorous patting and I will let you know I've had enough by giving you a little nip.

I'm not interested in sharing my home with any little humans, I would much prefer the company of chilled out adults. I need to be an indoor only cat I've already had my run in with the dangers of the great outdoors and I'm not interested thank you!

Please include a description of the home you will be able to provide like where the pet will be kept most of the day, what other animals are at the home, ages of children that live or frequently visit the home and any details of previous experience that you have had with this species or breed. The more details the faster we can speed up the process for a meet and greet with you. Be sure to ask any questions you may also have. We aim to respond to all applications within 5 working days.
