Hamilton is a very striking tabby and white boy who is both curious and crushingly shy all mixed together.

This handsome kitten is from a litter of four boys who spent their young kittenhood living outside in the cold. They had very little human contact and this has made Hamilton very shy around people. His first instinct is to run and hide, then watch you from his safe spot.

Hamilton will need an experienced ‘cat person’ to help him in the next chapter of his life. This is not a kitten for a first-time cat owner. Hamilton needs a quiet home of 1-2 adults and no dogs. Older children would be fine, as long as the home environment is one of peace and calm.

As Hamilton is social with other cats and kittens, he would do well with another kitty in your home for company. It would also likely help boost his confidence and grow to appreciate the warmth and kindness that people can offer him.

Hamilton does want to put his rough start in life behind him, but he is going to need lots of understanding and patience from his people to allow him to interact at his own pace.

His humans need to know he will likely hide in his new home for a while, gradually showing himself with lots of encouragement and patience over time. You will need to work to win this boy over, but we know it will be well worth the time and effort.
